Legalised Murder

Abortion is now legalised murder in the United Kingdom, shame each and every one of the MPS who voted for it to be decriminalised. I hope all who voted for this barbaric law through parliament have constant nightmares and hear the cries of the unborn’s pain as they are killed in the womb for the rest of your living days both day and night.

Why do I feel so strongly about this, I feel this way because had abortions been freely available when I was conceived I wouldn’t be writing this piece today.

If you know me personally you will know that I am an adopted child. My birth mother who I know little about was called Sylvia Rose Bibbey and lived at 38 Bakers Avenue, Leyton. This woman who was single, according to my birth certificate. I am told she had four children, two girls and two boys, the girls she kept but both boys were put up for adoption. I have no idea who my biological father is as his name is not on my birth certificate.

My adoptive mother had recently re married, her first husband was a submariner who perished in the second world war. Although she had three children she was no longer able to conceive. My adoptive father dearly wanted a son. I don’t know anything about how adoption worked in those days, but I have been told that a woman my adoptive mother worked with knew of a woman who had given birth to a male child and was putting him up for adoption.

My adoptive parents who from now I will refer to as my mother and father as that’s what they were to me couldn’t have been better. My childhood was amazing and couldn’t have been better. Sadly both of my parents are deceased. My father died of a heart attack aged just fifty-five and my mother passed away aged ninety three. My mother didn’t remarry as she maintained no one could replace my father.

My life has been a good one. I married a beautiful girl from Persia and have two wonderful children. My house is paid for. We may not be rich but we are comfortable and in a better position than some. I’m nearer to the end of my life than the beginning though God willing I have a couple of decades of life left.

Had abortion been available when I was a foetus you wouldn’t have read this.

Abortion in my opinion is murder and now you know why.
